Well known to induce sound sleep with serotonin-building tryptophan (nature's Prozac), this lean protein is also a good source of B vitamins, so go ahead: Gobble! Gobble! Gobble!

 

SIMPLE: 

SPICY TURKEY PATTIES: Combine in a large mixing bowl: 1 pound ground turkey, 1 small minced onion, 2 tbsp diced currants, 2 tbsp fresh basil and 2 tbsp fresh parsley (or 1 tbsp of each dried), 2 crushed garlic cloves, 1 tsp ground ginger, ½ tsp red pepper flakes,1 egg. Stir to combine thoroughly and slowly and refrigerate for an hour. Shape into patties and brown over medium heat in a cast iron skillet, using 2 tbsp coconut oil. Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes on each side. Delicious with a fried or poached egg on top.
